Metsa Tanks Inc (“Metsa”) warrants your product to be free from defects in material and workmanship from the original date of shipment from Mesta’s production facility for a period as shown below:
Welds Lifetime Warranty.
Paint* 7 Year Warranty-Cash/Credit/Repair or Replacement will apply if paint damage in surface is consistent with at least 4” diameter and if the customer provides substantial evidence.
Rego Valves & Rochester Gauges Metsa will immediately replace any valve or gauge that has been damaged due to poor or improper installation by our personnel or having been damaged in transport or unloading. Any valve or gauge deemed to be defective shall be replaced and Metsa requests return of the defective piece to process the warranty with the manufacturer.
This limited warranty extends to the Consumer purchaser to whom the Product was first delivered in a new and unused condition and who places such Product in service (the “Consumer”). Consumer’s sole remedy for a breach of this warranty by Metsa shall be for Metsa, at its option, to repair or replace without charge, any defective item covered by this limited warranty.
If the Consumer believes that any part of the war- ranted Product is defective, Consumer must give written notice to Metsa at the address appearing below before the expiration of the warranty period, providing details as to date and place of purchase, serial number and any alleged defect. If the Product is determined to have a warranted defect following Mesta’s inspection, Metsa will give written instruc- tions to the Consumer regarding the manner in which the defect is to be repaired or replaced. Consumer may be requested to return the item at Consumer’s expense, but no such return should be made until Consumer has received instructions from Metsa. If Consumer has to incur in any labor fees, Metsa may refund at a rate of $35 USD per hour. If in some case gas is lost, a 5% of tank working volume (80%) will be compensated at EIA price.
* Paint warranty exception clause. METSA tanks shipped to and used in environments that may cause premature corrosion. METSA reserves the option to void our paint warranty policy for tanks shipped and placed in corrosive environments such as but not limited to coastal areas, areas affected by high snow and where salt is used on roads, wetlands, etc. METSA will notify each specific customer in advance if there may be a paint warranty exception based on the region the METSA tanks were shipped to and the serial numbers of the specific tanks identified. Tanks painted or repainted by Customer will void valve or gauge warranty.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS METSA’S SOLE WARRANTY TO CONSUMER AND IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE. PROVIDED THAT SHOULD ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY PERIOD. METSA WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY FURTHER LOSS BY REASON OF ANY DEFECT, WARRANTED OR OTHERWISE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above, limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow limitations on how long and implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. METSA SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FAILURES CAUSED BY MISLADING, MISLOADING, ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSES SUCH AS:
POLLUTANTS OR SALT CORROSION, OVERHEATING, IMPROPER CLEANING, ALTERATION, MISUSE, IMPROPER INSTALLATION, PHYSICAL ABUSE, ACCIDENT OR FOR NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary, from State to State.
This limited warranty is made only to “consumers” and applies only to “consumer products”. For these purposes, a “consumer product” is any tangible personal property, which is normally used for personal, family or household purposes. A “consumer” is a purchaser (other than for purposes of resale) of any consumer product, any person to whom the consumer product is transferred during the duration of an implied or written warranty and any other person who is entitled under the terms of this limited warranty or under applicable state law to enforce the warranty applicable to consumer products.
